Tata Motors has opened bookings for the new Tata Harrier SUV in India. This upcoming updated 2023 Tata Harrier SUV comes with new features, ADAS, and an uprated powertrain as well.

Diving into details, the updated 2023 Tata Harrier SUV now comes with ADAS tech which includes safety systems such as autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, high beam assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, forward and rear collision alert and door open alert.

In addition to these safety features, the upcoming 2023 Tata Harrier SUV also comes with advanced features such as a 360-degree surround-view camera system, a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 200 voice commands (6 languages), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, 6-way power adjustable driver seats with memory function and much more.

That being said, another big upgrade that will be seen in the 2023 Tata Harrier SUV comes in the form of new diesel. This new powertrain is an upgraded version of the existing 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine and this engine puts out 168bhp of peak power and 350Nm of torque. Furthermore, this upgraded engine now complies with the new RDE emission norms as well.

Also, in terms of gearbox options, the 2023 Tata Harrier SUV continues to be offered with two transmission options and the 2023 Tata Harrier SUV customers can choose between the 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission. That being said, Tata Motors still does not offer all-wheel-drive with the Harrier SUV.
