The 2023 Hyundai Verna is a big departure in terms of styling from previous versions of the sedan. The new Verna looks a lot sportier than its predecessors and features a new turbo petrol engine and Level 2 ADAS.

2023 Hyundai Verna - Specs & Dimensions
The 2023 Verna is 4,535mm long, 1,765mm wide and 1,475mm tall and sports a 2,670mm long wheelbase. The new Hyundai Verna is 95mm longer and 36mm wider than its predecessor.
The wheelbase of the 2023 Verna has grown by 70mm compared to the previous generation of the sedan, which means that those sitting inside have quite a bit more room to settle into. Speaking of space, the 2023 Hyundai Verna's boot can gobble up 520 litres of luggage.
The new Hyundai Verna for India is offered up to the public with a choice of two petrol engines both displacing 1.5-litres with the more powerful version benefitting from a turbocharger.

The naturally aspirated 1.5-litre engine has been carried over from the current Verna. The N.A. version of the 1.5-litre engine produces 113bhp and 144Nm of peak torque under the bonnet of the new Verna. The engine is mated with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic gearbox.
The turbocharged 1.5-litre engine is new for the latest Hyundai Verna and was last seen in the recently launched 2023 Alcazar SUV. The force-fed 1.5-litre petrol engine pushes out 158bhp and 253Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DCT automatic.
