2023 Hyundai Verna Launch Tomorrow – Variants, Colours & More
Hyundai Motor India is all geared up to launch the new 2023 Hyundai Verna sedan tomorrow and the latest iteration of the sedan has already started reaching Hyundai dealerships across the country.
In addition to that, Hyundai India has already opened bookings for the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Verna sedan in the country and the booking amount is capped at Rs 25,000.
In terms of design, the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Verna sedan uses the South Korean automaker's Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy and features stand-out design elements such as a split headlamp design with full-width LED DRLs, wider front grille and LED light bar at the rear.
Also, the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Verna will be offered in 4 trim levels - EX, S, SX, and SX(O). In addition to this, Hyundai will offer the 2023 Verna sedan in 9 colour options, out of which 7 shades are single-tone and 2 shades will be dual-tone.
That being said, the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Verna sedan will come equipped with more than 65 safety features, of which 30 of those will be part of the standard equipment. This further iterates that the South Korean automaker is pushing boundaries in terms of automobile safety.
Some of these note-worthy safety features on the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Verna sedan include 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, , ISOFIX mounting points, automatic headlamps, burglar alarm, impact-sensing auto door unlock, speed-sensing auto door lock, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) and ADAS.
Speaking of ADAS, the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Verna sedan will come equipped with Level 2 ADAS with active safety systems such as Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, High-Beam Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance assist, Lead Vehicle Departure Alert, Driver Attention Warning and much more.
Coming to the powertrain, the 2023 Hyundai Verna sedan will come with two petrol engine options. The '1.5 Turbo' engine features a turbocharged, 1.5-litre engine that is expected to produce 160bhp of power and come mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
On the other hand, the base powertrain is a familiar 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine and interested customers can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox with this powertrain.
