2023 Hyundai Verna Base ‘EX’ Variant Comes Well-Equipped – Check Out All Details
Hyundai Motor India recently launched the all-new 2023 Hyundai Verna with an aggressive starting price of just Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom, India) - Undercutting its primary rivals by a decent margin.
However, despite its lower starting price, the newly launched 2023 Hyundai Verna base variant comes very well equipped with a decent feature list and here's everything you need to know.
Starting with the powertrain, the 2023 Hyundai Verna EX comes with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine with 114bhp of peak power and 144Nm of peak torque. Unlike other variants, the base 'EX' variant comes exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Exterior features on the 2023 Hyundai Verna base 'EX' variant include a pair of projector headlamps, a premium-looking Black Chrome front grille, body-coloured ORVM covers, body-coloured door handles, full-size wheel covers, and electrically adjustable ORVMs.
Features on the inside include power windows, tilt adjustable steering wheel, Type-C USB charging ports, manual AC, dual tone interior, a height-adjustable driver seat, adjustable front and rear headrests, luggage lamps, fabric upholstery and a few more.
That being said, Hyundai could have added a few more features such as steering-wheel-mounted controls, a basic audio system with 4 speakers, and rear AC vents to make the base 'EX' variant of the sedan a bit more welcoming and attractive to younger audiences.
In terms of safety features, the 2023 Hyundai Verna 'EX' variant comes with safety systems such as 6airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, Day and Night mirrors, auto headlamp, central locking, impact-sensing door unlock, auto door lock, ISOFIX points, burglar alarm, speed alert system, rear defogger and a few more.
