South Korean carmaker Hyundai has unveiled the facelifted Grand i10 Nios. Bookings for the 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios are now open for a token amount of Rs 11,000.
The 2023 facelift for the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios updates the hatchback's looks while also adding more features that help increase safety while also adding more tech. The new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will be showcased at Auto Expo 2023 which begins later this week.
The exteriors of the Grand i10 Nios have been given a proper nip and tuck. At the front, the facelifted hatchback sports a larger grille in the revised front bumper. There are also new tri-arrow LED daytime running lights fitted next to the air intakes on either edge of the front bumper.
The Grand i10 Nios for 2023 rides on a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels that look rather pleasing to the eye. At the rear, the 2023 Grand i10 Nios features new LED taillights that are connected to each other by a full-width lightbar.
The 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift is offered in six different paint schemes - Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Teal Blue, Fiery Red, Spark Gren & Polar White, with the last two, also available with a black roof for a dual-tone look.
Step inside the 2023 Grand i10 Nios and you'll be greeted by grey upholstery for the seats along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The facelifted Grand i10 Nios also gets a lit footwell, and USB C charging ports.
The Grand i10 Nios retains its 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top-spec variants continue to feature a wireless phone charger and automatic climate control.
The new Grand i10 Nios has more safety tech on offer including 4 airbags as standard which are upped to 6 on higher-spec models. ABS with EBD is also standard tech, and the i10 Nio facelift also gets cruise control, a tyre pressure monitoring system and a day-night rear view mirror as optional kit.
Mechanically, the 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios remains unchanged and continues to draw power from a 1.2-litre engine that produces 82bhp and 113.8Nm of peak torque in petrol form and 68bhp and 95.2Nm of peak torque when propelled by CNG. The petrol version is offred with both manual and AMT gearoxes (both 5-speed) while the CNG variants are only offered with the manual transmission.
