Honda recently revealed the upcoming Honda Elevate SUV and the bookings for this upcoming SUV have been scheduled to commence next month. Though the Honda Elevate SUV will be the latest entrant into the highly competitive C-Segment SUV category, here are 10 missing features in the Honda Elevate SUV.

Panoramic Sunroof

When Honda released the teaser images of the upcoming Honda Elevate SUV, the first thing everyone noticed was the single-pane sunroof. This is not only outdated, but some of the current C-segment SUVs also happen to offer panoramic sunroofs.

360-Degree Camera

The 360-degree camera system is among the hottest and most useful car features you can have. Though a feature once reserved for high-end cars, this feature has trickled down to premium hatchbacks as well. It is a shame Honda has missed to equip the Elevate SUV with this feature.

Fully Digital Driver's Display

The Honda Elevate comes equipped with a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster with an analogue speedometer. Though this set-up looks clean, Honda could have equipped the SUV with a larger fully digital instrument cluster like some of its competitors.

HUD

Though the heads-up display (HUD) may not be an useful feature as some of the other features mentioned in this article, the presence of HUD gives the user a better impression. Furthermore, the HUD also improves safety as all the vital statistics are displayed on the driver's line-of-sight.

Powered Driver's Seat

Though the absence of a powered driver's seat may not be a deal-breaker for many consumers, this option significantly improves the user experience. In fact, a few SUVs in the segment already offer this feature in the top-spec trim levels.

Ventilated Front Seats

Ventilated seats are another very useful feature to have in a car. Not only is this feature now common among different categories, but many buyers appreciate this feature as well. As such, this is a feature Honda dearly missed in the upcoming Elevate SUV.

Branded Audio System

Again, the absence of a branded audio system may not be a deal-breaker for most buyers. Also, having a branded audio system leaves a much better impression among car buyers as well.

Turbo Petrol / Hybrid Engine

Though the 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine in the Honda Elevate SUV is sufficiently powerful, some of its main competitors are offering punchier turbocharged petrol and strong hybrid engine options. This lack of turbo petrol engine may disappoint a few customers.

Sun Blinds

Though Honda cars generally have better rear seat experience, it is a shame that Honda has not equipped the upcoming Honda Elevate SUV with rear sunblinds. In fact, a few of its competitors do offer this feature in higher-spec variants.

Type-C USB Ports

Nowadays, most mobile manufacturers including Apple have switched to type-c USB ports. However, Honda has not equipped the Elevate SUV with type-c USB ports. On top of that, Honda has not added any USB ports for the rear passengers as well.
