At present, the prices for the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV start from Rs 10.48 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the base 'E' MT 2WD NeoDrive variant, whereas the top-spec 'V' e-Drive 2WD Hybrid variant costs Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is also worth mentioning that the prices for the strong hybrid variant start at Rs 15.11 lakh (ex-showroom, India), whereas the all-wheel-drive variant is priced at Rs 17.19 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Speaking about the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV, the model is developed alongside the newly launched Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV and both models are pretty much identical under the skin. In addition to that, both SUVs sport hybrid powertrains and also come with an all-wheel-drive option.

While the internal combustion engine pushes out 87bhp of power and 122Nm of torque, the electric motor supplements this engine with an additional 79bhp of power and 141Nm of torque. However, the combined power output is rated at 114bhp.

It is worth mentioning that this strong hybrid powertrain is paired with an e-CVT gearbox as standard and Toyota claims that the Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV equipped with this powertrain offers best-in-class mileage of 27.97km/l.

While Toyota is not known for its feature list, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV is an exception as the model comes equipped with a long feature list which includes a large 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, wireless charging pad, digital instrument cluster, connected car tech, air purifier, ventilated front seats, climate control, panoramic sunroof, powered driver's seat and much more.

Safety-wise, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV comes equipped with safety equipment such as 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX anchoring points, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), hill hold & hill descend control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), a 360-degree surround-view camera and much more.
