Toyota Innova Hycross Launched In India At Rs 18.30 Lakh

Toyota has launched the all-new Innova Hycross MPV in India. The Toyota Innova Hycross carries a starting price of Rs. 18.30 lakh, ex-showroom.
The new Toyota Innova Hycross is offered in two guises - petrol and strong hybrid. The pure petrol version of the Innova Hycross is offered in the G and GX trim levels and comes in both 7 and 8-seater guises. The Gasoline (petrol) version of the new Innova Hycross starts at Rs 18.30 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 19.20 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom)
The Strong Hybrid Innova is offered in four trim levels - VX (7-seater), VX (8-Seater), ZX and the top-of-the-line ZX(O). Prices for the strong Hybrid Innova Hycross start at Rs 24.01 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 28.97 lakh for the top-end ZX(O) variant (All prices mentioned are ex-showroom).
The new Innova Hycross is the 3rd generation of the Innova nameplate in India. This new MPV has gone through a lot of changes on the outside, inside and under the hood. The new MPV is based on the TNGA-C platform.
At the front, the Innova Hycross gets a full LED headlight, DRL and fog light setup. It also gets a new grille and a lot of chrome surrounds. Moving on to the side, the vehicle gets 18-inch alloy wheels and body cladding all over. It also features body-coloured ORVMs and door handles. The rear section of the MPV gets wraparound taillights and an integrated roof spoiler.
Step inside the cabin and you will be welcomed with dual-tone seat upholstery. It also gets a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features on the new Innova Hycross include a dash-mounted gear lever, a large panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, an ottoman function for the second row of seats, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, multi-zone climate control and a powered tailgate.
The new Innova Hycross is offered with 2 powerplants petrol and hybrid. The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 172bhp and 205Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the new hybrid uses a 2.0-litre Atkinson Cycle engine that produces a combined power of 187bhp and 206Nm of peak torque and claimed mileage of 21.1km/l. Both powertrains are mated to a CVT automatic gearbox.
The new Innova also comes packed with a host of safety tech including 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Traction Control and ESP along with a suite of ADAS systems including the likes of lane departure warning, blind spot monitor and adaptive cruise control among others.
