Maruti Suzuki Swift (6,347 units)
Maruti Suzuki exported 6,347 units of Swift hatchback in India. Achieving so, the Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback has become the highest exported passenger car in India.
Moreover, the YoY export figure for the Maruti Suzuki Swift also increased by more than 468 per cent as the Indo-Japanese automaker managed to sell just 1,116 units of Swift hatchback in May 2021.
Nissan Sunny (5,062 units)
While Nissan might have discontinued the Sunny from its Indian product portfolio, the 'CAAAR' seems to have more than decent demand in the overseas market as the Japanese automaker managed to export 5,062 units from India.
In addition to that, the YoY export percentages are highest at more than 84,200 per cent. This is because the Japanese automaker managed to export 6 units.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza (4,473 units)
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is a sub-4m SUV launched in India back in 2016 and the SUV immediately gained traction in the Indian automotive market. Later, as part of the update, the SUV ditched its diesel powertrain for a cleaner-burning petrol unit.
In May 2022, Maruti Suzuki exported 4,473 units of Vitara Brezza SUV from India. Also, the export figures went up by 814 per cent as the company exported 489 units in May 2021.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno (4,214 units)
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno was reintroduced in the Indian automobile market as a premium hatchback to compete against premium hatchbacks such as Hyundai i20 and Volkswagen Polo. Also, the premium hatchback quickly gained more than decent traction in the Indian market.
On the other hand, the strong demand for the premium hatchback continues even in the export markets as the company managed to export 4,214 units of the hatchback from India. This resulted in a YoY export increase of more than 66 per cent.
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso (3,692 units)
The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso was launched to compete against the Renault Kwid in India, and the model has tasted a decent level of success in India.
Moreover, the model seems to have strong demand in the international markets as the company managed to export 3,692 units in May 2022, which is 1,644 units more than what the company has managed to achieve in May 2021.
