Top 5 Best-Selling Sub-4m SUVs: November 2022
The list of the top 5 best-selling sub-4m SUVs is here and the Tata Nexon yet again becomes the best-selling sub-4m SUV in India.
However, looking at the sales figures of the top 5 sub-4m SUVs, the overall sales have gone up as most models show a strong growth in both YoY and MoM sales numbers.
Tata Nexon (15,871 units)
Tata Nexon once again became the best-selling sub-4m SUV as the company managed to sell 15,871 units of the SUV in the month of November 2022. In comparison to last year's sales performance, Tata Motors managed to register an YoY growth of more than 61 per cent as the company managed to sell just 9,831 units in November 2021. Moreover, the MoM sales figures of the Tata Nexon also improved by 15 per cent as the company managed to sell 2,104 units more than the previous month.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza (11,324 units)
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza SUV secured the second spot in the list as the Indo-Japanese automaker managed to sell 11,324 units of the SUV in November 2022. This means Maruti Suzuki has registered a YoY sales hike of more than 5 per cent. In comparison, MoM sales of the Brezza SUV increased by almost 14 per cent as the company managed to sell 1,383 units more than what the company managed to sell in the month of October 2022.
Hyundai Venue (10,738 units)
In November 2022, the Venue yet again proved to be a consistent seller for Hyundai as the company managed to sell 10,738 units of the sub-4m SUV in India. Furthermore, YoY sales for the Venue SUV improved by more than 35 per cent as the company managed to sell just 7,932 units in November 2021. In addition to that, the MoM sales figures for the Hyundai Venue also improved by more than 12 per cent.
Kia Sonet (7,834 units)
Under the skin, both the Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue are almost similar and both SUVs are very successful SUVs for their respective manufacturers. That being said, Kia only managed to sell 7,834 units of the Sonet SUV in November 2022, but registered a YoY growth of more than 66 per cent. In comparison, MoM sales improved marginally by almost 3 per cent.
Mahindra XUV300 (5,903 units)
The Mahindra XUV300 has been slowly gaining market share in the Indian automobile market and the company managed to sell 5,903 units of the sub-4m SUV in November 2022. This has resulted in more than 47 per cent growth in YoY sales. However, MoM sales for the XUV300 SUV dipped by 6 per cent as the company managed to sell 6,282 units of the SUV in October 2022.
