Tata Punch Camo Edition Teased Ahead Of The Launch
Tata Motors has teased the upcoming Camo Edition of the Tata Punch SUV in India. Moreover, the launch of the Tata Punch Camo Edition will give the automaker an opportunity to attract more customers to the dealerships across the country ahead of the upcoming festive season.
Moreover, with the increased customer flow to the dealerships, Tata Motors could capitalise on the sales push achieved during the festive season.
That being said, Tata Motors had previously launched the Tata Harrier Camo Edition SUV back in November 2020. However, the model was discontinued next year and that model was available in XT, XT+, XZ, XZA, XZ+, and XZA+ trim levels.
Moreover, it is also worth mentioning that the Tata Harrier Camo Edition SUV demanded Rs 30,000 premium over the respective standard trims. However, for the price premium, Tata Harrier Camo Edition customers would get an exclusive Olive Green colour paint on the exterior of the vehicle that is designed to resemble the Military Green used in the Indian Armed Forces.
However, changes didn't just end with the paint job as it extended to other visual enhancing bits such as 'Camo' badging on the front fenders, glossy black finish around the headlamps, front grille and side skirts, and a set of 18-inch blacked-out alloy wheels that suit well with the overall appearance of the SUV.
Coming to the interior, the Tata Harrier Camo Edition also gets a unique all-black interior with contrasting Olive Green stitching on the leatherette seat upholstery and a new 'Blackstone Matrix' element on the dashboard instead of the faux wood inserts.
Moreover, Tata Motors also introduced two accessory packages for the Harrier Camo Edition customers to make their SUV stand out further. The 'Camo Stealth' package cost Rs 27,000, whereas the 'Camo Stealth+' package costs Rs 50,000.
These packages add some additional kits for added convenience and visual appeal of an already visually enhanced Tata Harrier and includes a set of unique 'Tri-Arrow' camo graphics, front parking sensors, a pair of side steps, scuff plates, sun shades, rear seat organiser, anti-skid dash mats, 3D-moulded mats and very premium looking 'HARRIER' lettering on the bonnet.
Since the 'Camo Edition' has already been introduced in a Tata SUV, it is safe to expect all these changes in the upcoming Tata Punch Camo Edition.
Coming back to Tata Punch, it is one of the safest cars in India with a 5-Star safety rating from Global-NCAP. Also, the Tata Punch comes with top-notch safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and cornering stability control, ISOFIX child seats, first-in-segment 'Brake Sway Control', and many more.
Powering the Tata Punch SUV is an uprated, naturally-aspirated, Revotron petrol engine. This engine is a 3-cylinder, 1.2-litre engine with 84.48bhp of peak power at 6,000 rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 3,300 rpm. Also, the Tata Punch comes with a choice of either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
Features-wise, Tata Motors has loaded the new Tata Punch SUV with as many features such as a semi-digital instrument console, a large 7-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, iRA connected car tech, multi-function steering wheel, automatic climate control, natural voice recognition function for voice commands, smart keyless entry, push-button start/stop, power-operated ORVMs with auto-folding, cruise control and many more.
Thoughts About Tata Punch Camo Edition
Since the 'Camo Edition' has already been introduced in Tata Harrier SUV, it is safe to expect most of the changes seen in the Tata Harrier Camo Edition on the upcoming Tata Punch Camo Edition as well.
Moreover, the launch of the Tata Punch Camo Edition will help Tata Motors further boost its sales during the festive season in India.
