What makes this $75 million investment even more interesting is that Porsche's partners Siemens Energy and ExxonMobil are also involved in it. They are among the biggest energy and oil producers in the world and these brands coming together to develop some eFuels.

These synthetic fuels will allow combustion engines to be operated in a carbon-neutral manner. Even the production of these fuels will be powered by wind energy and it is not polluting even in that manner. Production of these eFuels is expected to start halfway through 2022.

Porsche plans to use these fuels in its flagship motorsport projects and will also be used to fuel up the internal combustion cars at Porsche experience centres and while leaving the Porsche factory.
