Nissan Magnite Red Edition Bookings Open - Launch Date Revealed

The Nissan Magnite Red Edition will be offered in three trim levels based on XV variant - Magnite XV MT Red edition, Magnite Turbo XV MT Red edition, and Magnite Turbo XV CVT Red edition. Potential owners can book their Magnite Red Edition online or by physically doing so at their local dealership.

The Nissan Magnite Red Edition features a few cosmetic highlights including a red accent on the front grille, front bumper bash plate, wheel arches, doors and side cladding. Other features include a set of Red Edition badging, tail door garnish, and a LED Scuff plate.

Like other XV variants of the Nissan Magnite compact SUV, the Red Edition trim levels sport 16-inch diamond cut alloy dual-tone alloy wheels, a wireless phone charger, ambient lighting, a 7-inch driver's display and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The Nissan Magnite SUV is offered with a single engine option - a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol which is offered in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged guises. The 999cc triple cylinder in naturally aspirated guise produces 71bhp at 6,250rpm and 96Nm of peak torque at 3,500rpm. This engine option is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The turbocharged version of the Nissan Magnite SUV's 1.0-litre engine produces 99bhp at 5,000rpm and 152Nm of peak torque at 2,200rpm. The engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic gearbox.

The Nissan Magnite comes packed with safety features including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, high-speed alert system, front seat-belt reminder, electronic stability control, hill hold control, and traction control among others.
