Mini Resolute, Untold & Untamed Editions Revealed

There are three versions of the new 'Mini Editions'. While the Cooper 3 door, 5 door, SE and convertible models get the Resolute edition, the Cooper S and JCW versions of the Clubman feature a new Untold edition trim level and the Countryman sports a new Untamed edition spec.

The Resolute Edition is offered with the Mini Cooper 3 and 5 door as well as the Mini Convertible models. The Mini Cooper Resolute Edition cars are offered with Nanuq White and Enigmatic Black exterior paint schemes while the roof and mirror caps are offered in either Pepper White or black to match.

The Resolute Edition also gets a Resolute Bronze finish to highlight various design features around the car. These features include the headlight surrounds, the radiator grille, rear lights and door handles. The air intakes also feature the same Resolute Bronze finish.

The Cooper Resolute Edition also gets Mini's driver assistance system, known as the Mini Driving Assistant which helps improve comfort while also increasing the level of safety offered on the car. These assistances features include the camera-based Active Cruise Control (ACC), Active Guard and Lane Departure Warning among others.

The new Untold Edition is offered with the Cooper S and Clubman John Cooper Works models of the car. The Untold Edition models of the Clubman are finished in either Midnight Black or Sage Green with contrast elements in the other colour option.

The Mini Clubman Untold Edition cars also feature five parallel 'Sport Stripes' that run down the centre of the bonnet and roof.

The Untamed Edition is reserved for the Countryman model and helps highlight the rugged appeal of the car while focusing on the vehicle's off-roading abilities. The Countryman Untamed Edition is offered in either Momentum Grey or Nanuk White.

The Countryman Untamed Edition also sports graphics finished in a Frozen Blue Stone paint scheme. These special Countryman models also feature namesake 'Untamed' lettering on the side scuttles, the door sill trims and emblems on the seats and in the lower steering wheel spoke.

Thoughts On The Mini Editions

The Mini Editions bring cosmetic changes to cars already a part of the Mini lineup. The addition of Mini's Driving Assistant will be a welcome boon for Cooper owners.
