For this, MG Motor has equipped the upcoming MG Advanced Gloster SUV with the company's latest Advance I-Smart infotainment unit. Also, with this system, users can use a dedicated app as an in-car remote to control various functions in the car such as the audio, air conditioning, mood lighting and various other connected car features.

To further aid convenience, MG Motor has also made the i-SMART app accessible for Android watch users as well.

In addition to all these features, the upcoming MG Advanced Gloster SUV comes with an in-built navigation system powered by MapmyIndia. This system will be further enhanced by live weather and AQI index as well.

At present, the outgoing iteration of the MG Gloster SUV comes with two engine options. The base 2WD variant of the MG Gloster SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine with 160bhp of peak power and 375Nm of peak torque.

On the other hand, the 4WD variant of the MG Gloster SUV is powered by a twin-turbo version of the same engine. This iteration of the engine produces 215bhp of peak power and 480Nm of peak torque. Despite the large difference in output, both these engines come mated to an identical 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard.

Like other MG vehicles, the MG Gloster SUV also comes packed with technology and sports features such as a 360-degree surround-view camera system, wireless charger, heated front seats, massaging seats, cooled seats, PM2.5 filter, auto headlights, powered seats, auto-dimming IRVM, heated ORVMs, push button start/stop, drive modes, and many more.

Other than this, the MG Gloster SUV also comes with advanced safety features such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Blind Spot Detection (BSD), driver fatigue reminder, Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and more.

According to the Chinese-owned British automaker, the facelifted iteration of the MG Gloster SUV will go on sale on August 31and the details about the launch of the upcoming MG Advanced Gloster SUV were previously updated through the company's social media pages.

Since this is a facelifted version, we expect the upcoming MG Gloster SUV facelift to feature a few minor updates on the exterior to make the SUV feel a bit sharper and angular. Other than this, we also expect a mild update on the interior as well.

Like most facelifted models, we do not expect the upcoming facelifted iteration of the MG Gloster SUV to feature any mechanical changes. However, there is a possibility of MG Motor India re-tuning the powertrain for better power delivery.

In terms of changes, the spied images of the upcoming facelifted iteration of the MG Gloster SUV confirm that the model will feature a new set of alloy wheels. In addition to this, we expect a slightly larger infotainment unit as well.

At present, prices for the MG Gloster SUV start from Rs 31.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). We expect the updated iteration of the MG Gloster SUV to receive a minor price hike of around Rs 50,000.
