Starting with the design, the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX concept car looks very slippery. In fact, the model looks visually distinct with its slopping roofline and elongated rear section. However, such a design has been incorporated to make the Vision EQXX concept car as aerodynamic as possible.

Other than this, the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX features design elements such as LED headlights similar to the Mercedes-Benz EQS, flush door handles, full-width LED taillamps that stretch almost to the bottom of the rear bumper, a pair of compact-looking door-mounted rearview mirrors, and a set of aerodynamic-looking wheels.

Diving into the details of the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX concept car, the visually-distinct design has helped the German car manufacturer achieve a ridiculously low drag coefficient of just 0.17cD. To achieve such a low drag coefficient, Mercedes-Benz even opted to paint its 3-pointed star logo on the bonnet instead of opting for a logo made from metal or any other material.

While the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX concept car may not look anything like the automaker's Formula 1 car, the concept car has borrowed some of the technology from the Mercedes-Benz Formula 1 car to make a high density battery pack with reduced weight and compact dimensions.

That being said, with more than 1,000 kilometres of real-world range, it is almost unbelievable to know that the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX concept car packs a battery pack of 100kWh capacity. Moreover, the drivetrain of the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX concept car is designed to transfer 95 per cent of the energy released from the battery pack to its wheels.

It is also worth mentioning that the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX concept car features a 241.65bhp electric motor for propulsion, and the concept car even features solar cells on its slopping roofline to power auxiliary units in the vehicle. Moreover, Mercedes-Benz even claims that the solar cells on the roofline can boost the range by an additional 25 kilometres under ideal conditions.
