Engine & Gearbox

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire S-CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated, DualJet, 4-cylinder petrol engine. In petrol mode, this engine produces 88.50bhp of peak power and 113 Nm of peak torque.

However, with the CNG fuel going inside the engine, this engine produces slightly lower power and torque outputs and according to Maruti Suzuki, this engine with CNG fuel produces 76.6bhp of peak power and 98.5Nm of peak torque.

Though the standard version of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire gets both 5-speed manual transmission and 5-speed AMT transmission options, the CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki comes exclusively mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Apart from that, the Indo-Japanese company claims a fuel efficiency figure of 31.12 km/kg of CNG fuel.

Like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, the CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is also a very well-equipped sedan. The CNG sedan comes packed with features such as a 7-inch infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering mounted audio and telephone controls, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, LED projector headlamps, Cruise Control, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs and many more.
