Maruti Suzuki Brezza Updated – Checkout All The Details
Maruti Suzuki has rolled out a new update for the updated iteration of the Brezza SUV in India via Over-The-Air (OTA) update.
This latest OTA update enables users to use wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and the update is available on the Brezza SUVs equipped with the SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system.
Diving into details, owners of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza SUV equipped with the Suzuki SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system can receive these features installed on their SUV as OTA updates via smartphone updates or it can even be downloaded from the Indo-Japanese automaker's official website.
That being said, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza was launched on June 2022, and the SUV even surpassed Tata Nexon in terms of sales for two consecutive months. On top of that, the 2022 Brezza was equipped with plenty of modern features such as an electric sunroof, an updated MID display, a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a heads-up display (HUD), Alexa compatibility, Cruise Control, connected car tech, rear AC vents, electric sunroof, Arkamys sound system, and much more.
Furthermore, safety was also given a lot of priority in the 2022 Brezza with the inclusion of safety systems such as 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program (ESP), a 360-degree surround-view camera, hill-hold assist, reverse parking sensors, seat belt pre-tensioners, ISOFIX anchoring points and much more.
Also, Maruti Suzuki is currently developing CNG variant of the 2022 Brezza SUV with automatic gearbox. Moreover, the information regarding the imminent launch of the CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza SUV equipped with an automatic transmission was leaked through the official website of the automaker itself, where the upcoming CNG version of the Brezza SUV has been hinted to sport a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Apart from that, the CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza is expected to use the same 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine as the CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MUV. As such, this engine is likely to produce around 90bhp of peak power and 122Nm of peak torque using CNG as fuel.
In comparison, the standard variant of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza SUV produces 103bhp of peak power and 138Nm of peak torque. However, this small sacrifice in power is more than justifiable for the low running cost the CNG version of the SUV is expected to provide.
