Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport TVC Out - Features Gaurav Gill
Mahindra has finally launched the much-awaited Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport SUV, and the TVC for the newly launched performance variant of the SUV is already out now featuring veteran rally driver, Gaurav Gill. The 1-minute 15-second TVC of the newly launched Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport shows Gaurav Gill driving the SUV enthusiastically inside a multi-storey parking lot.
The video showcases the additional performance and stability of the sportier Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport. In addition to that, the new TVC also reveals many cosmetic changes and design elements of the Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport SUV.
Diving into details, it can be seen that the newly launched Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport comes with a Golden exterior colour scheme with a gloss black roof. Also, the new Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport comes with red accents on the gloss black front grille, gloss black ORVMs, red-coloured variant badging, diamond-cut alloy wheels, sporty chrome-finished pedals and an all-black interior.
This new exterior colour scheme is called the 'Blazing Bronze'. In addition to this colour option, there are two other dual-tone colour options - Napoli Black with White roof, and Pearl White with Black roof. Apart from that, the new Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport SUV is available in three different variants - W6, W8, and W8 (O).
Under the skin, the newly launched Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport comes with the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, direct-injection, turbocharged engine as the standard petrol variant. However, power and torque figures now stand at 128.2bhp and 230Nm, which is an increase of 18.2bhp of power and 30Nm of torque.
In addition to that, the new Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport also has a very Porsche-like over-boost function that allows an additional 20Nm of peak torque for a brief moment. On the other hand, a 6-speed manual transmission comes as standard fitment. Mahindra claims that the newly-launched XUV300 TurboSport can hit 60km/h from a standstill in just 5 seconds.
In terms of features, the new Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport comes with features such as dual-zone climate control, a large 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, steering modes, projector headlamps, LED DRLs and much more.
Coming to safety, the Mahindra XUV300 SUV continues to be one of the safest sub-4m SUVs you can buy in India with a 5-star safety rating for adult occupant protection from Global-NCAP and sports safety tech such as 6 airbags, corner braking control (CBC), ABS with EBD, Traction Control (TC), reverse parking camera, front and rear parking sensors, and much more.
Coming to the price, the Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport SUV is priced at Rs 10.35 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and directly competes against the Hyundai Venue N Line SUV and Kia Sonet X-Line SUV in the country.
