Mahindra Scorpio N New Variants Introduced – Prices Start From 11.99 Lakh
Mahindra has now introduced 5 new variants of the Scorpio N SUV in India. As a result, there are a total of 30 variants of the SUV.
Out of these 30 variants of the Mahindra Scorpio N SUV, 19 variants are diesel-powered, whereas the remaining ones are petrol-powered. That being said, only the diesel-powered models get the optional 4Xplore 4WD system.

The newly launched variants of the Scorpio N SUV include Z2 G MT E, Z2 D MT E, Z4 G MT E, Z4 D MT E, and Z4 D MT 4WD E. With the introduction of new variants, the 4WD version of the Scorpio N SUV is now a lot more accessible at Rs 16.94 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Diving into details, the newly introduced Scorpio N Z2 G MT E variant gets additional features such as Hill Hold Assist and Electronic Stability Control (ESC). Moreover, the variant continues to come equipped with features such as tilt-adjustable power steering, 2nd row AC vents, power windows, USB ports, LED turn indicators and much more. This variant is currently priced at Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
In terms of newly introduced Z4 trim based variants, Mahindra has added Hill Hold Assist and Electronic Stability Control (ESC). However, it is worth mentioning that both these above-mentioned features were already present in the automatic transmission equipped variants based on the Z4 trim level.

Coming to the powertrain options in the new Scorpio N SUV, the petrol engine is a 2.0-litre, turbocharged unit with 200bhp of peak power and 370Nm of torque. Also, this engine can be specified with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
On the other hand, the Mahindra Scorpio N diesel comes in two states of tune. The base 2.2-litre turbocharged engine produces 130bhp of peak power and 300Nm of peak torque, the more powerful iteration of the same engine produces 172.5bhp of peak power and 400Nm of peak torque. Additionally, the Scorpio N diesel can also be specified with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. However, base diesel engine can only be had with a 6-speed manual transmission.

With the introduction of new variants, buyers will not only have more flexibility to choose the better-suiting variant of the Scorpio N SUV, but some crucial features such as ESC and Hill Hold Assist are now available at a much more affordable price tag. Apart from that, the 4WD version of the Scorpio N SUV is now a lot more accessible at Rs 16.94 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
