Kia Sonet X-Line Spied - New Alloy Wheels & More
Upcoming Kia Sonet X-Line SUV spotted with new alloy wheels. As the SUV has been officially teased in India, we expect Kia to soon launch the Kia Sonet X-Line SUV in the country.

According to the leaked image of the upcoming Kia Sonet X-Line SUV, the SUV seem to sport a new set of alloy wheel with a slightly sportier design. Moreover, we expect this alloy wheel to be a size bigger than the alloy wheels available in the standard variant.

This is to be expected as the previously launched Kia Seltos X-Line SUV came with larger 18-inch alloy wheels instead of the 17-inch alloy wheels on the standard variant of the Kia Seltos SUV.
However, analysing the leaked image of the Kia Sonet X-Line, the SUV seems to use the same 16-inch alloy wheel. This is also possible as the larger alloy wheels could make the upcoming Kia Sonet X-Line a bit uncomfortable over rough patches.

As mentioned earlier, as the teaser image has been released by the South Korean automaker, it is safe to expect that the Kia Sonet X-Line could be launched anytime now to maximise the potential of sales push achieved during the upcoming festive season in India.
The launch of the Kia Sonet X-Line before the festive season will not only improve the sales figures of the Sonet SUV lineup, but it could also have a positive effect on other models as well.

According to the teaser image and the leaked image, the upcoming Kia Sonel X-Line SUV sports sportier design elements on the outside to differentiate the model from regular models. and inside of the upcoming Kia Sonet SUV along with a few additional features as well.
In addition to that, the upcoming Kia Sonet X-Line may also sport additional features on the inside as the X-Line variants are comparable to the N-Line variant introduced in the Hyundai model range.

We also expect the upcoming Kia Sonet X-Line to be based on the top-spec GTX-Plus trim level. Since Kia is yet to reveal the Sonel X-Line, we are not sure about the colour options that will be available on the model. However, it is safe to expect sporty colour options and a blacked-out roof as a standard cosmetic upgrade.

At present, the Kia Sonet SUV model range is one of the best-selling models in the country, racking up consistent MoM sales figures for the South Korean automaker. Additionally, the Indian automobile market has been very welcoming to the South Korean car manufacturer and the brand achieved the 1 lakh sales milestone within nine months of its operations in the country.
Now, Kia has teased the X-Line variant of the Kia Sonet SUV in India and we expect this new variant to further boost the sales of the sub-4m SUV in India. Also, such a boost in sales will help improve the company's market share in the country. It is also worth mentioning that the Kia Sonet X-Line SUV will not be a limited-run model.

We are expecting features such as a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic climate control, digital instrument cluster, power adjustable rear view mirror, keyless entry, engine Start/Stop button, Cruise Control, rear AC vents, multi-function steering wheel and many more.
In terms of powertrain, the X-Line variant of the Kia Sonet SUV is expected to be powered by the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 118bhp of power and 172Nm of peak torque. Moreover, this engine is likely to come with the quick-shifting 7-speed DCT gearbox as the sole transmission option.
