Kia Sonet X-Line Officially Teased - Matte Exterior Colour & More
Kia Sonet X-Line SUV has been officially teased in India. We expect Kia to add sportier design elements on both the outside and inside of the upcoming Kia Sonet SUV along with a few additional features as well.

In addition to that, the upcoming Kia Sonet X-Line may also sport additional features as the X-Line variants are comparable to the N-Line variant introduced in the Hyundai model range.

At present, the Kia Sonet SUV model range is one of the best-selling models in the country, racking up consistent MoM sales figures for the South Korean automaker. Additionally, the Indian automobile market has been very welcoming to the South Korean car manufacturer and the brand achieved the 1 lakh sales milestone within nine months of its operations in the country.

Now, Kia has teased the X-Line variant of the Kia Sonet SUV in India and we expect this new variant to further boost the sales of the sub-4m SUV in India. Also, such a boost in sales will help improve the company's market share in the country. It is also worth mentioning that the Kia Sonet X-Line SUV will not be a limited-run model.

Also, we expect the upcoming Kia Sonet X-Line to be based on the top-spec GTX-Plus trim level. Since Kia is yet to reveal the Sonel X-Line, we are not sure about the colour options that will be available on the model. However, it is safe to expect sporty colour choices and a blacked-out roof as standard.

The Kia Sonet X-Line also comes with a few minor cosmetic upgrades over the standard Kia Sonet HTX variant. However, most of these changes are limited to the exterior of the new Kia Sonet X-Line.

Also, the Kia Sonet is very well-known for its long feature list and comes with features such as a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic climate control, digital instrument cluster, power adjustable rear view mirror, keyless entry, engine Start/Stop button, Cruise Control, rear AC vents, multi-function steering wheel and many more.

In addition to that, Kia Sonet also comes with safety features such as dual airbags, ABS, EBS, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), auto headlamps, brake assist, rear parking camera and a few more.

Though Kia Sonet SUV comes with multiple engine options, the X-Line variant is expected to be powered by the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 118bhp of power and 172Nm of peak torque. Moreover, this engine is likely to come with the quick-shifting 7-speed DCT gearbox as the sole transmission option.

Thoughts About Upcoming Kia Sonet X-Line
The new Kia Sonet X-Line adds a lot of styling cues to the already stylish Kia Sonet. Moreover, the launch of the Kia Sonet X-Line will boost the sales of the SUV by a decent margin.
