JK Tyre Unveils New Range Of EV-Specific Smart Radial Tyres

The new range of EV-specific Smart radial tyres from JK Tyre is available for a wide range of vehicle segments such as buses, trucks, LCVs, and passenger cars. In addition to that, these new EV-specific Smart radial tyres from JK Tyre are developed in India at the Raghupati Singhania Centre of Excellence (RPSCOE) in Karnataka.

According to JK Tyre, the company has developed this technology to cater to the special requirements of electric vehicles. As a result, these EV-specific Smart radial tyres from JK Tyre ensure ultra-low rolling resistance, improved wet and dry traction, higher durability and lower energy consumption.

In addition to that, the EV-specific Smart radial tyres from JK Tyre have been developed with special attention to meet the lower noise requirements of electric vehicles. Thus, ensuring a quieter ride.

In order to meet this requirement of a quieter ride, the tread patterns of the newly introduced EV-specific Smart radial tyres from JK Tyre are designed using advanced FEA simulations for lower noise and better wear characteristics.

These new EV-specific Smart radial tyres from JK Tyre also feature an in-house developed Treel TMPS sensor that is designed to meet the demanding requirements of EV trucks, buses, SUVs and more.

Also, the EV-specific Smart radial tyres from JK Tyre have been developed in 17.5-inch and 22.5-inch sizes for commercial vehicles such as Trucks, Buses, and LCVs. Moreover, these tyres (255/70 R22.5, and 295/80 R22.5) are now supplied to JBM EV buses.
