Also, the least price hike of Rs 20,000 was witnessed on the petrol-powered 'Sport' variant of the Jeep Compass SUV albeit equipped with an automatic gearbox. This variant is now priced at Rs 22.07 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Moreover, the popular 'Longitude' and 'Night Eagle' variants of the Jeep Compass SUV witnessed a price hike of Rs 25,000, irrespective of the powertrain options. On top of that, all other variants of the Jeep Compass SUV except the top-spec Model S and Trailhawk variants witnessed a price hike of Rs 45,000.

Speaking about Jeep Compass Trailhawk, the variant is the more off-road-focused variant of the SUV. Noticeable changes on the SUV include a silver-coloured bash plate, a new 7-slat front grille, a new front bumper with sporty black accents, two red tow hooks, anti-glare graphics on the bonnet, a black roof, redesigned rear bumper, black cladding all around and a few more.

On the inside, the Jeep Compass Trailhawk SUV sports an all-black interior with contrasting red stitches on the seats, door trims and dashboard. Whereas the powertrain continues to be the same tried-and-tested powertrain from the standard Jeep Compass. This powertrain is a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine with 170bhp of peak power and 350Nm of peak torque.
