British carmaker Jaguar has revealed the F-Type 75. The all-new F-Type 75 will sit as the flagship model for the final year of the British sports car's production.

Offered in both coupe and convertible guises, the F-Type 75 will sit atop the F-Type lineup in is final year of production. The new F-Type 75 model will be offered in two guises - 75 and R 75 - powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 in different states of tune.

The F-Type is Jaguar's final internal combustion engine powered sports car and next year will mark the final year it will be produced. Jaguar plans to become a fully electric luxury carmaker by the year 2025 with new EV models set to be revealed in 2024.

For its final hurrah, Jaguar has left the engine on the flagship F-Type 75 model unchanged compared to the current V8 powered variants of the sports car. In its base guise, F-Type 75, which replaces the R Dynamic model, the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine pushes out 444bhp at 6,000rpm and 580Nm of peak torque at 2,500rpm. This is sent to either the rear wheels or all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Jaguar claims the F-Type 75 will sprint from 0-60miles/h (0-96.5km/h) in just 4.4 seconds and will hit a top speed of 285km/h.

The more powerful range-topping model, dubbed the F-Type R 75 gets 567bhp and 700Nm of peak torque out of the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 model. The F-Type R 75 is only offered in all-wheel-drive guise and also sports an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The Jaguar F-Type R 75 will sprint from 0-60miles/h in just 3.5 seconds and will hit a top speed of 299km/h.

The new F-Type 75 models feature double wishbone suspension at both the front and rear. Both the F-Type 75 and R 75 get continuously-variable dampers that optimises both low speed comfort and high speed control.

The F-Type 75 gets steel brakes as standard though owners can specify Jaguar's Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) braking system. Jaguar's CCM setup features 398mm discs with six-piston callipers at the front and 380mm discs with four-piston callipers at the rear. These CCM brakes get brake callipers painted in yellow as standard.

Both the F-Type 75 and R 75 ride on distinctive 20-inch wheels. The R 75 sports forged wheels that are shod with specially developed Pirelli P Zero tyres - 265/35/ZR20 and 305/30/ZR20 front and rear respectively.

In terms of cosmetic changes, the new F-Type 75 models feature unique blacked-out badging on the fenders that depict the silhouette of the sports car with the more powerful R 75 also sporting black R badges. Other distinct cosmetic highlights include 20-inch wheels - gloss black 5-spoke for the 75 model and diamond turned gloss black wheels for the R 75.

Jaguar will continue to offer the F-Type with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 296bhp and 400Nm on tap though this model misses out on the 75 nameplate.
Jaguar is currently taking bookings for the F-Type 75 range with deliveries set to start in January 2023.

Thoughts On The Jaguar F-Type 75
The Jaguar F-Type 75 marks the end of an era at the British marque best known for its sports and luxury cars. While we wish that Jag had pulled out a bit more power out of its supercharged V8, we know that its soundtrack alone will ensure that enthusiasts will flock to this last Jaguar ICE sports car.
