Force Gurkha 5-Door Version Spotted Testing: Launch Soon
The 5-door version of the Force Gurkha SUV has been spotted testing with any camouflage and we expect this new 5-door off-road SUV to be soon launched in the Indian automobile market.

When launched, the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha will rival the upcoming 5-door version of the Mahindra Thar. However, it seems the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha will be launched a lot sooner than the equivalent version of the Mahindra Thar.
Expect the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha to be priced at least Rs 1 lakh more expensive than equivalent 3-door version of Force Gurkha.

Design
Speaking about the design of the new 5-door version of the Force Gurkha, the SUV gets most of the design elements from the 3-door version. This includes the front and rear bumper, front grille with the 'Gurkha' logo instead of the company logo, LED headlights, LED taillights, and a few more.

Apart from these changes, the new 5-door version of the Force Gurkha is also significantly longer than the 3-door model. Whereas the evolutionary design gives the new Force Gurkha a beefier stance.
On the inside, expect the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha to sport a revamped interior with the option for captain seats or bench seat on the middle row. Though the added length makes the overall interior more hospitable, the interior quality if not improved will resonate the intended purpose of the SUV.

Features
In terms of features, expect the 5-door version of the new Force Gurkha to come with an identical feature list with the inclusion of features such as a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a part digital instrument console with an analogue speedometer and a tachometer.

Also, the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha will also come with a tilt and telescopic steering wheel, individual armrest, speed-sensing door locks, power windows, central locking, manual air-conditioning, follow-me-home headlights and a few more.

Safety
On the safety front, expect the 5-door version of the new Force Gurkha to come with dual airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, one-touch lane change indicator, Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), speed alert, and a few more.

Powertrain
The 3-door version of the new Force Gurkha is powered by a tried-and-tested 2.6-litre Mercedes derived common rail, direct-injection, turbocharged diesel engine. Expect this engine to power the upcoming 5-door version of the new Force Gurkha without many changes.

This engine is a BS6 compliant unit and produces 91 bhp of peak power and 250Nm of peak torque in the outgoing version of the Force Gurkha. Expect the 5-door version of the new Force Gurkha to also come with the standard 5-speed manual transmission with differential locks at the front and rear axles along with the low-ratio gearbox.

Thoughts About The New Force Gurkha
Though the 5-door version of the new Force Gurkha will become more hospitable and family-friendly, we expect Gurkha to still be a mountain goat.
