Force Gurkha 5-Door Spotted Again: Launch Soon
The much-awaited 5-door version of the Force Gurkha SUV has been spotted again with any camouflage and the SUV looks almost production-ready. We expect this new 5-door Force Gurkha SUV to be soon launched in the Indian automobile market.
Looking at the new spy shots, the Force Gurkha 5-door version not only sports a longer wheelbase, but it also comes with more ground clearance. In addition to that, the Force Gurkha 5-door comes with side-facing seats on the last row.
Thanks to the longer wheelbase, we expect the 2nd-row seats to offer a lot more legroom as well. However, the spied 5-door version of the Force Gurkha sported a 3-seater bench seat on the second row instead of the captain seats on the 3-door version of the Force Gurkha.
However, we do expect Force Motors to also offer captain seats on the 5-door iteration of the upcoming Force Gurkha SUV. Also, using the captain seats on the middle row will improve the access to the 3rd row.
Additionally, the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha uses a set of much bigger 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels shod with wider 255/65 tyres. In comparison, the 3-door version of the Force Gurkha uses 16-inch alloy wheels shod with 245/70 tyres.
Thanks to the wider tyres and bigger alloy wheels, the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha carries a lot more street presence than the 3-door version of the Force Gurkha SUV.
However, the interior of the Force Gurkha 5-door SUV seems to look the same as its 3-door version with its utilitarian-looking dashboard. It is an area Force Motors could have spent some more time and improved, but the spied SUV is still a test mule and the final version could sport a few changes on the inside.
It is also worth mentioning that, the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha may sport a more powerful engine considering its larger wheels. We expect the power figures to hover around the 120bhp mark with the Force Gurkha 5-door.
When launched, the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha will rival the upcoming 5-door version of the Mahindra Thar. However, it seems the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha will be launched a lot sooner than the 5-door version of the Mahindra Thar.
Moreover, we expect the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha SUV to be priced at least Rs 1 lakh more expensive than the 3-door version of the Force Gurkha SUV.
In terms of features, expect the 5-door version of the upcoming Force Gurkha SUV to come with features such as an aftermarket-looking 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a part digital instrument console with an analogue speedometer and a tachometer.
Other natable features of the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha will include a tilt and telescopic steering wheel, individual armrest, speed-sensing door locks, power windows, central locking, manual air-conditioning, follow-me-home headlights, LED headlights, LED taillights, and a few more.
In terms of safety, we expect the 5-door version of the new Force Gurkha SUV to come with dual airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, one-touch lane change indicator, Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), speed alert, and a few more.
Thoughts About The New Force Gurkha
The launch of the 5-door version of the Force Gurkha SUV is likely to be a game changer for the company as the SUV will appeal to a lot more buyers. However, in order to attract family buyers, Force must improve the interior of the Gurkha SUV by a significant margin.
