EV Charging Stations At Apollo Tyre Stores To Be Set Up By Tata Power: Partnership Details
Apollo Tyres and Tata Power enters into a partnership to deploy public EV charging stations across India. According to the partnership, Tata Power will set up EV charging stations at over 150 Apollo Tyres outlets in the country.

The move marks the two companies' commitment to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles. These charging stations will be deployed at Apollo Tyres' Commercial and Passenger Vehicle Zones in India.
These charging stations will cater to customers visiting these tyre retail outlets and will be open for public use throughout the year. Tata Power already owns a vast charging network in the country with chargers ranging from - DC 001, AC, Type2, Fast DC chargers up to 50kwh and up to 240kwh chargers for buses.
As for the chargers at the Apollo Tyre outlets, the company will select the type of charger based on the location. However, any charger that is set up at any outlet will support charging for electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers and four-wheelers.

Currently, Tata Power has deployed over 1,000 EV charging points across 200 different cities under the EZ Charge brand. This facility also features a digital platform to facilitate an easy and smooth customer experience as well.
The EZ charging stations offer seamless EV charging experiences for customers across various public hotspots in the city. This includes offices, malls, hotels, retail outlets, and places of public access ensuring ample reach to reduce range anxiety.
Tata Power EZ Chargers are available in various formats such as public chargers, captive chargers, bus/ fleet chargers, and home chargers. The company also bundles a tailor-made mobile-based application for EV customers for ease of use. The app helps in locating EV charging stations, charging EVs, and making bill payments online as well.
