Recently, the dimensions of the upcoming Atto 3 electric SUV had been leaked online and reveals that the Atto 3 electric SUV is much larger than its rivals measuring at 4,455mm long, 1,875mm wide, 1,615mm tall and also sports a wheelbase of 2,720mm. In addition to that, it was battery specifications of the electric SUV have been leaked and the Chinese automaker is planning to launch the SUV with two battery pack options - 49.92kWh and 60.48kWh.

Coming to the powertrain, the upcoming BYD Atto 3 electric SUV will be powered by a single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor with 201bhp of peak power and 310Nm of peak torque - Makes the BYD Atto 3 electric SUV a lot more powerful than its immediate rivals. Also, thanks to this powertrain, the company claims that the BYD Atto 3 electric SUV can sprint from a standstill to 100km/h in just 7.3 seconds.

In terms of range, the Atto 3 electric SUV comes with a range of 420km under the WLTP cycle when equipped with the larger 60.48kWh battery pack. On the other hand, the WTLP cycle range dips to a still-respectable 345km when the electric SUV is equipped with the smaller 49.92kWh battery back.

We expect the upcoming BYD Atto 3 electric SUV to be priced around Rs 25 lakh to Rs 30 lakh, ex-showroom.
