The Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition is powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 that is paired with an electric motor. This hybrid V6 setup for the Bentayga Odyssean Edition produces 456bhp and 700Nm of peak torque.

The electric motor draws power from a new 18kWh battery pack that allows the Odyssean Edition of the Bentayga to drive for 45 kilometres on electric power alone. The hybrid powertrain of the Bentayga Odyssean Edition allows the SUV to sprint from 0-100km/h in 5.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 254km/h.

The limited-run Bentayga Odyssean Edition features quite a few exterior tweaks highlighted in Pale Brodgar (Bentley speak for a rather pale brown).

These Pale Brodgar accents can be found in the surrounds for the headlights and taillights as well as the front and rear bumpers and the massive 22-inch wheels on which the Odyssean Edition rides.

Bentley recommends a curated palette of six exterior colours to match the Pale Brodgar accents but customers can choose from the entire Bentley lineup of 60 exterior shades.

Step inside the Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition and the SUV's sustainable nature comes into full focus.

The open pore Koa veneer used for the centre console of the limited edition SUV uses 90 per cent less lacquer than high gloss veneers and allows customers to enjoy the natural surface texture and aesthetic of the wood. Bentley claims that only three coats of the ultra-thin lacquer were used for the centre console which measures just 0.1mm in thickness.

The Odyssean treadplates match the badge on the rear pillar and the cabin features quite a bit of sustainable natural leather along with multiple interior surfaces bedecked in British wool tweed trim. The front seats feature 22-way adjustment along with heating and ventilation functions.

The Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition also sports multiple driver aids including adaptive cruise control, lane assist, traffic assist and the Bentley Safeguard suite of radar and cameras that constantly monitor the roads and traffic surrounding the limited-run SUV.

Bentley has started taking orders for the Bentayga Odyssean edition with production set to start in the first quarter of 2023. No prices have been revealed.
