2023 Tata Harrier – Here’s Our Expectations About The Upcoming SUV

Tata Motors is looking forward to its participation in the upcoming Auto Expo 2023 and we are looking for the Indian automaker to showcase the upcoming 2023 Tata Harrier.

That being said, the upcoming facelifted version of the Tata Harrier SUV has been spotted testing several times and the SUV looks almost ready for production. Moreover, the SUV seems to sport more than a few changes on the outside.

2023 Tata Harrier – Here’s Our Expectations

Analysing all the previous spied images of the heavily camouflaged 2023 Tata Harrier test mules, the upcoming facelifted iteration of the Tata Harrier SUV not only sports major design updates, but the 5-seater SUV is most likely to get ADAS on the higher specification models as well.

ADAS

Thanks to ADAS, the upcoming 2023 Tata Harrier SUV is expected to come with advanced active safety features such as automated emergency braking (AEB), adaptive cruise control (ACC), lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, rear-cross traffic alert, forward collision alert, blind-spot alert, drowsiness alert, and a few more.

Interior & Features

It is also worth mentioning that features such as a 360-degree surround-view camera system, ventilated seats, power-adjustable front passenger seats could be part of the standard trim levels on the upcoming facelifted version of the Tata Harrier SUV. That being said, the 2023 Tata Harrier is also expected to sport an updated interior with a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a fully-digital instrument cluster.

Exterior

On the outside, the updates on the 2023 Tata Harrier SUV is most likely to include changes such as a reworked front fascia with a new front grille, new headlamps, and a completely reprofiled front bumper with slightly larger air dams. However, we do not expect any major changes on the side or rear profile of the upcoming SUV.

Powertrain

Coming to the powertrain, Tata Motors is most likely to continue to source its power from the tried-an-tested 2.0-litre, Kryotech diesel engine with 167.67bhp of peak power at 3,750 rpm and 350Nm of peak torque at 1,750 rpm. Moreover, this engine can be specified with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Apart from that, there is also a possibility of Tata Motors revealing its new 1.5-litre, turbocharged petrol engine. This turbocharged petrol engine is rumoured to power the petrol versions of the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari SUVs in the near future alongside the diesel variants of the SUV.

Thoughts About The Facelifted Iteration Of The Tata Harrier SUV

The Tata Harrier is one of the best-looking SUVs currently available in the market. We expect the upcoming facelifted iteration of the Harrier SUV to sport a bit more aggressiveness than the outgoing model. Moreover, sporting ADAS will make the SUV future-proof and a lot safer as well.
