Toyota Camry sedan is one of the best sedans you can buy in India and the 2022 iteration of the Toyota Camry is the second update from the Japanese automotive giant for the eighth-generation Toyota Camry Hybrid.

Design
Like most facelifted cars, the update brought in a few cosmetic upgrades on both the exterior and interior of the new 2022 Toyota Camry. These updates made the new Toyota Camry Hybrid now looks more sporty and contemporary.
This sportier design of the new Camry is achieved by using a sleeker-looking front grille with fewer chrome elements, newer and sportier front bumpers with larger air intakes.

Moving to the sides, the side profile of the 2022 Camry remains largely similar to the previous model, however, Toyota has added a new set of dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels to make things a bit more interesting.

The sporty theme continues to the rear section of the updated Toyota Camry Hybrid with its darkened inserts on the LED taillamps and a slightly sharper looking rear bumper.

Features
As part of the new updated, the 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid gets new features such as the new infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with a 9-speaker JBL audio system, ventilated front seats with memory function, cruise control, heads-up display, electronic sunroof, three-zone climate control, wireless charging pad, power reclining rear seats, power sunshades for rear passengers and many more.

In addition to these, the new 2022 Toyota Camry gets reclining rear seats, AC controls at the rear, leather interiors, sun shades, and many more.

Safety
In terms of safety, the new Toyota Camry Hybrid comes equipped with top-shelf safety features such as 9 airbags, ABS, EBD, electronic stability program (ESP), Park Assist with Back Guide Monitor, VSC, TC, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), Hill-Start Assist and many more.

Powertrain
The updated 2022 Toyota Camry Hybrid continues to use the tried-and-tested 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine with 175.5bhp. This engine is further boosted by a 160kW electric motor. In combined form, this powertrain produces a healthy 215bhp.

This engine is mated to a smooth CVT gearbox and also sports three driving modes - Sport, Eco and Normal.

Warranty & Price
According to Toyota's official press release, the new Toyota Camry's hybrid battery comes with a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 kms and has been priced at Rs 41.70 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
