2022 Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG Bookings Open: Launch Soon

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is the sedan version of the Maruti Suzuki Swift, and like the hatchback, the sedan version is also very successful in the Indian automobile lineup.

In fact, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is the second-highest selling model in February 2022 by selling more than 17,000 units. The sedan also witnessed a very impressive 47 per cent YoY growth.

Now by launching the CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, the Indo-Japanese company is aiming to attract more buyers. Thanks to the CNG fuel, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG will be a lot more fuel-efficient as well as economical to run.

Apart from that, the rising fuel prices have become a concern for many car buyers in India and are shying away from buying new cars. With the launch of the CNG version of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, the Indo-Japanese company can lure in people concerned about the running costs.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been an almost default choice for anyone looking to upgrade their hatchback - Thanks to Maruti Suzuki's extensive service network, affordable service cost, and super fuel-efficient K-series petrol engines.

In addition to this, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire also comes packed with a decent feature list which includes features such as LED projector headlamps, Steering mounted audio and telephone controls, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 7-inch infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Cruise Control, Electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs and many more.

However, with the CNG fuel, this engine will produce slightly lower power and torque outputs. We expect the power output to be around 70bhp of peak power and 95Nm of peak torque. Moreover, the CNG version will be paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

In terms of pricing, the CNG variant of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire could be priced around Rs 60,000 to Rs 80,000 more expensive than the respective standard variants.
