Since Mahindra Scorpio N is among the most-awaited SUVs in the Indian automobile market, the demand for the SUV will be high from the moment bookings commences in the country. Also, the bookings for the Mahindra Scorpio N can be made online and at nearby Mahindra dealerships as well.

Though Mahindra is well aware of the demand the SUV will generate, Mahindra has also introduced attractive finance schemes for the Mahindra Scorpio N SUV. This includes finance offers such as a 6.99 per cent interest rate, 100 per cent on-road price funding, and tenure up to 10 years.

It is also worth mentioning that, customers who booked the Mahindra Scorpio N can edit their choice through the 'Booking Amendment Window'. Through this portal, customers can re-evaluate options such as variants, and colour options. However, customers can 'edit' their choice till midnight of 15th August.

At present, the prices for the Mahindra Scorpio N SUV start from Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the base 'Z2' trim with petrol engine and manual transmission and goes up to Rs 24.1 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the top-end diesel 'Z8L' trim with an automatic gearbox, 4WD system and 6-seater configuration. However, the introductory prices will be available for the first 25,000 customers only.

Coming to the production of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N SUV, the automaker plans to rollout 20,000 units of Scorpio N SUV by the end of this year. Also, the rollout of top-end Z8L 'trim' will be prioritized over other variants as well. According to Mahindra, the deliveries of the Scorpio N SUV will commence on 26 September.

In terms of powertrain, the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N with two engine options - One petrol engine and one diesel engine. However, the diesel engine is available in two states of tune.

The base diesel engine is a 130bhp variant of the 2.2-litre turbocharged engine with 300Nm of peak torque. Unlike the more powerful iteration o the same engine, this engine comes exclusively mated to 6-speed manual transmission.

The more powerful diesel engine on the other hand produces 172.6bhp of peak power and 370Nm of peak torque. However, the torque output is increased to 400Nm when paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Finally, the 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine puts out a mammoth 200bhp of peak and 370Nm of torque, but torque goes up by another 10mm when paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The new Mahindra Scorpio is available in 7 different exterior colour options - Deep Forest, Napoli Black, Everest White, Red Rage, Dazzling Silver, Royal Gold, and Grand Canyon.

Also, it is worth mentioning that the six-seater variants command a premium of Rs 20,000 over their respective seven-seater variants and 4x4 variants are somewhat costlier as these variants are priced at a premium of Rs 2.45 lakh.
