As per the new details, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N SUV gets a 172bhp 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine with 400Nm of torque. However, the torque of this engine is limited to 370Nm in the variant equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission.

Apart from that, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N also be specified with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 197bhp of peak power.

This information also confirms that the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N SUV is available with both manual and automatic gearbox options.

A point worth mentioning is that the automatic variant of the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N comes with larger 18-inch alloy wheels instead of 17-inch alloy wheels in the manual variants.

Earlier, a teaser of the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N claimed the SUV of having the ‘Highest Command Seating'. This claim is further strengthened as the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N SUV sports 205mm ground clearance according to the leaked information.

Though the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N SUV comes with a less sophisticated ladder-on-frame construction, the SUV sports a more advanced Penta link suspension with FSDs.

Also, the leaked information also reveals that the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N SUV will come with an optional 4-mode four-wheel-drive system. In addition to this, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N can handle up to 47-degree descent and 57-degree ascent.

As per the leaked details on the new Scorpio N, the SUV gets safety systems such as 6 airbags, ESP, Traction Control (TC), ABS, EBD, Hill Descent Control and a few more.

In terms of features, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N gets a dual-zone climate control system, 12-speaker Sony audio system with 3D Sound Staging, Driver Drowsiness Alert, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and a sunroof.

As mentioned above the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio N SUV will come in 7 exterior colours such as white, silver, red, blue, green, black, and gold.

In terms of the design, the upcoming new Mahindra Scorpio takes a lot of inspiration from the outgoing Scorpio such as the upright front-end, boxy twin-pod headlamps, and a pair of tall wraparound-style taillamps.

We also expect Mahindra to price the new Scorpio aggressively with a starting price close to Rs 12 lakh, ex-showroom.
