BMW Updates Its Cars For 2021: All BMW Cars Get New Colours & Features

BMW has been on a roll since they introduced the new BMW M3 and M4 sedans globally. To keep up the momentum, BMW has decided to update its entire product line-up for 2021. As part of revamping the entire product portfolio, BMW has introduced new variants, colour schemes, exterior and interior elements, special features, and equipment.

We expect the revamped MY2021 models to initially hit the European markets before arriving in India. After the introduction of the BMW M4 convertible, a less powerful model was introduced based on the 430i xDrive and 430d M4 coupes. The standard 3 Series and 4 Series on the other hand get additional colours and new seat upholstery.

BMW's entry-level 1 Series hatchback, and 2 Series Gran Coupe get new exterior colours. However, their top-end variants receive an added feature in the form of Lane Departure Warning.

Climbing up the ladder, the BMW 5 Series and the 6 Series Gran Turismo get an optional 4-zone climate control system. The 6 GT even gets new M Sport multifunction seats on the front row. The hybrid models can now be fitted with optional 19-inch light-weight alloy wheels.

BMW has also added an 'electrified by i' badge on all its hybrid models, much like the 'M' prefix on semi-skimmed versions of their performance models. Of all the aforementioned cars, only the 2 Series Gran Coupe, 6 Series GT and X6 are available in India

Thoughts On The MY2021 Update For BMW Cars

Despite the ongoing pandemic, the Munich based brand has posted a year on year growth of 33.5 percent with an overall sale of 6,36,606 units during the first three months of 2021. Updating its entire line-up is a great strategy to capitalise on the footfalls and enquiries. The updates are sure to attract more buyers.
