2021 Maserati Ghibli Hybrid Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 1.15 Crore
After a really long wait, last year, Italian car manufacturer Maserati took the wraps off the first electrified model in its history: the Maserati Ghibli Hybrid sedan. The Ghibli Hybrid is an updated version of the same sports sedan that has been around since 2013.
However, the biggest change is the adoption of a mild hybrid powertrain. Maserati has launched its 2021 Ghibli range in the Indian market. The luxury sedan is available with a V6, V8 and a new mild-hybrid powertrain. Prices for the 2021 Maserati Ghibli starts at Rs. 1.15 crore (ex-showroom).
The 2021 Maserati Ghibli Hybrid sedan gets a few changes such as a restyled grille and new tail lamp clusters that have taken inspiration from the 3200 GT. At the front, it now comes with a full-LED adaptive matrix headlight along with LED DRLs. Other features include soft-close doors, power trunk with kick sensor and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit and connected car features as part of Maserati Connect.
The 2021 Maserati Ghibli Hybrid sedan also gets an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The Ghibli features lightweight construction with a 50:50 weight distribution and the car is equipped with Skyhook suspension and Brembo brakes that make the supercar handle like a beast.
Under the hood, the 2021 Maserati Ghibli gets the 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol mild-hybrid powertrain. This engine produces 325bhp of power and 450Nm of peak torque. Acceleration from 0-100km/h is achieved in just 5.7 seconds and it has a top speed of 255km/h. It also gets regenerative braking and the company claims that the mild-hybrid system reduces fuel consumption by 20 per cent.
