The turbocharged 1.4-litre petrol unit puts out a higher 140bhp and 242Nm of peak torque.
All three engines come mated to a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, apart for the turbo-petrol engine. Hyundai also offers all three engines with automatic transmission as well. This includes a 6-speed torque converter with the diesel, 5-speed iVT for the 1.5-litre petrol and a 7-DCT with the turbo-petrol unit.
