The list of top-selling cars in India for the month of February 2019 is out. As expected, Maruti Suzuki models continue to dominate the sales in the Indian market, occupying the top-six positions.
Meanwhile, Hyundai is following the Indian brand slowly behind while Tata has also managed to break into the top-ten, occupying the last position in the list.

Maruti Alto
Maruti Alto is one of the best-selling products in the Indian market. Slotted in the entry-level hatchback segment, the Alto brings in volume sales for Maruti Suzuki month-on-month. The Maruti Alto is available in both 800cc and 1.0-litre formats, while also offering an automatic transmission option with the higher 1.0-litre unit.

Maruti Swift
Maruti Swift is the winner of the 'Indian Car of the Year 2019' and is currently in its third-generation model. The new Swift comes with a number of updates and features, compared to the previous generation. The Maruti Swift also offers a completely new design all-around as well. The engine on the Swift continues to be the same tried and tested petrol and diesel units from the previous models.

The Maruti Baleno is the brand's only premium hatchback offering in the market. The Baleno recently received a subtle mid-life facelift, with additional features and minor cosmetic updates to the exteriors. Maruti also offers the Baleno in a more sporty 'RS' format, all of which are sold exclusively through Maruti's NEXA dealerships.

It receives the same engine configuration as the Swift hatchback. The Dzire has also managed to dethrone the Alto in the top-selling list on a number of occasions.

Maruti Suzuki recently introduced their all-new Wagon R hatchback in the Indian market. The new Wagon R has been completely redesigned, offering a fresh new look to the popular tall boy hatchback. The new Maruti Wagon R is now also available in two petrol engine variants: 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre units.

Hyundai i20 Elite
The Hyundai i20 Elite is a popular premium hatchback from the Korean carmaker in India. It is one of the best-selling products from Hyundai in the country and directly rivals the likes of the Baleno in the country. Hyundai also offers the i20 in a crossover variant, called the i20 Active.

Hyundai Creta
The Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular premium SUV offerings in the Indian market. The Creta is currently in its second-generation format and is offered in three engine formats; two diesel and one petrol.

Hyundai i10 Grand
The Hyundai i10 Grand sits between the recently launched Santro and the premium i20 Elite hatchbacks. It comes with some of the basic features seen on the more premium i20 offering and is priced competitively in the Indian market.

Tata Tiago
Tata Motors has cracked into the top-10 with their Tiago offering. The Tiago was recently updated with a new variant and offers a number of features and equipment. Tata has recently announced that they will be discontinuing their diesel engine on the Tiago.
