The front end of the hatchback is heavily inspired by the Renault K-ZE on sale in the Chinese market. Well, the K-ZE is in essence an electric version of the Kwid, so it is fair to use the exact same design.

The front-end features a split headlamp design with LED DRLs on top and a halogen headlamp in the bumper. The rear features redesigned tail lamps with C-shaped LED inserts. The overall silhouette of the car though remains the same.

On the Climber variant, the bumper is more muscular and features orange accents. The interiors have also seen a major update. Taking centre-place in the dashboard is a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. The speedometer is the digital unit that has been borrowed from the Triber.

The materials used in the dashboard and the seats too are premium. Orange accents can be seen on the door panels, seats and centre console. It will be powered by a BS-VI compliant, 1.0-litre, three-cylinder engine with a maximum power output of 67bhp and a peak torque output of 91Nm.

The Kwid Climber is currently priced at Rs 4.55 lakh for the manual transmission and Rs 4.85 lakh for the AMT variant. We can expect a price hike for the new model thanks to the additional cost of developing BS-VI engines and the price of the new equipment in the 2020 model.
