The side and rear profile of the new hatchback also come with a number of changes. However, it still manages to carry forward the same silhouette as the current-generation model.
The new Jazz retains the slightly upright profile while being more rounded off than the outgoing model. The taillights at the back are again LED lighting, while the remaining part of the side and rear profile is kept minimal, offering a clean and simplistic design.

In terms of mechanicals, the new fourth-generation Honda Jazz is the first hatchback from the brand to feature a petrol-hybrid powertrain. The car is expected to feature a 1.5-litre petrol engine, mated to two electric motors (downsized from the one used on the CR-V). There is also expected to be a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit for certain international markets as well.

The new Honda Jazz is part of the company's electrification plans of 2025. All future hybrid models from Honda will be sold under their new sub-brand — e:HEV.
India is expected to receive the fourth-generation version of the Jazz soon. However, it remains to be seen if Honda introduces the same model or a slightly different iteration of the 2020 Jazz in the Indian market.
