MG Hector Deliveries Create A New Record: Company Delivers 700 Units On Occasion Of Dhanteras
MG Motor today announced that it delivered 700 units of the Hector SUV in the Indian market, to mark the occasion of Dhanteras in the country. The company also delivered 200 units of the MG Hector in a single-point in New Delhi; making it one of the largest delivery events till date.

MG Motor organised various delivery events across the country. It also took this opportunity to congratulate its customers for their contribution towards girl child education. The company had recently partnered with IIMPACT NGO, stating that it would sponsor one girl child for every Hector sold in India.

The British brand also runs the ‘Worth Waiting For' program in India. As part of this initiative, MG Motor sponsors the education of one girl child for every two-week waiting period bourne by customers. The company announced that since the launch of the Hector back in August 2019, they have been able to sponsor the education of a total of 35,000 girls in the country.

The MG Hector has been received extremely well in the Indian market. The company recently celebrated the achievement of two milestones in India. The first being, that the Hector SUV received over 38,000 bookings in India since its launch. The second is that the company recently celebrated the roll-out of the 10,000th Hector manufactured at their plant in Halol, Gujarat.

The company is now said to ramp up its production even further, allowing them to meet the growing demand for the Hector in the market. The company has announced the start of a new shift from November, which will help it increase its monthly production capacity in India.

The MG Hector is offered with a host of features and equipment. This is combined with a bold and aggressive design, with plenty of space in the cabin; making it a very attractive offering in the market.
The MG Hector is positioned in the mid-size SUV segment in India, taking on rivals such as the Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta and the Mahindra XUV500. The company currently demands a waiting period of over 4 to 5 months.
