2019 Honda Civic Launch Highlights — Prices Start At Rs 17.69 Lakh
2019 Honda Civic Launch Highlights: Honda Cars India has launched its latest 10th generation Civic sedan in the Indian market. The all-new Honda Civic is offered with a starting price of Rs 17.69 lakh, ex-showroom (India). The new Honda Civic is available in a range of three trims — V, VX, ZX.

The new Honda Civic is available with two engine options: one petrol and one diesel. The first, 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol producing 139bhp and 174Nm of peak torque. The second is a 1.6-litre turbocharged diesel engine churning out 118bhp and 300Nm of peak torque. The petrol engine comes mated to a standard CVT automatic gearbox while the diesel unit is mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission.
In terms of dimensions, the all-new Honda Civic is 4,656mm in length, 1,799mm in width and 1,433mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,700mm and a ground clearance of 171mm. The India-spec 10th generation Civic offers a 430-litre boot capacity. The sedan also comes with a 43-litre fuel tank, with ARAI certified mileage figures of 16.5km/l for the petrol and 26.8km/l (class-leading) for the diesel.
We recently got the chance to drive the all-new Civic, during the pre-launch media drives — here is our detailed review. The all-new Honda Civic rivals the likes of the Skoda Octavia, Hyundai Elantra and the Toyota Corolla Altis in the Indian market.
The all-new Honda Civic is also equipped with a number of features, including infotainment and safety equipment. It comes with a large 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering-mounted audio control, MID display on the instrument cluster, LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, large 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control and 160-watt 8-speaker audio set-up.
In terms of safety features: ABS with EBD, six airbags, electronic parking brake, brake hold, brake assist, hill start assist and ISOFIX child seat mounts among a host of others.
The all-new Honda Civic will further be offered in a range of five different paint schemes — Platinum White Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic and Golden Brown Metallic.
