Volvo Offers Test Drive Service Of V40 Through Amazon Prime Now
The Volvo V40 is now available for a test-drive through a booking on Amazon Prime Now in the UK.
Volvo has introduced the UK's first test drive service through Amazon Prime Now. The Swedish company will bring its V40 offering to the potential customer's doorstep. Customers will be then given the hatchback for 45 minutes, allowing them to test-drive the V40.
The service from Volvo will be available for only a certain period between June and July. Customers in four major cities of the UK will be able to test-drive the V40 booked through the Amazon Online Delivery.
The four cities where the service is available: London (9 - 10 June), Birmingham (16 - 17 June), Manchester (23 - 24 June) and Edinburgh (30 June - 1 July).
Bookings for the test drive have already started. Customers who book the vehicle will get the Volvo V40 delivered to their doorstep along with a company representative.
Those interested in purchasing the vehicle can then proceed to the Volvo dealership to complete the purchase.
In India, the Volvo V40 comes with two variants: D3 Kinetic and D3 R-Design. Currently, both variants get the same 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine. The engine produces 150bhp and 320Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Volvo V40 hatchback also comes with a range of features. Some of which include auto start/stop, electronic climate control, Immobiliser, keyless start, leather seats, paddle shifters, adaptive cruise control and a reverse parking camera.
Safety features on the Volvo V40: ABS, Airbags, Intelligent Driver Information System, Advanced Stability Control and Emergency Brake Assist to name a few.
The Volvo V40 is available in a range of six colour choices including Passion Red Solid, Ice White Solid, Crystal White Pearl, Osmium Grey, Onyx Black and Bursting Blue.
