Toyota has finally entered the midsize sedan segment by unveiling the new Yaris at Auto Expo 2018.

The Yaris will compete with established Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and the Maruti Ciaz in India.
While we've already brought you the specification comparison of the Toyota Yaris and the Honda City, this article is about the Toyota Yaris vs Hyundai Verna comparison on specifications, features, design and mileage.
Design
The Toyota Yaris is slightly smaller compared to the new Hyundai Verna. The new Verna is longer by 15mm in length and 50mm in the wheelbase.
The Yaris is also shorter by 10mm compared to the new Verna. However, the Toyota Yaris is the widest among the two.
Being smaller has its advantages. The Toyota Yaris might be more comfortable to drive through challenging city driving conditions compared to the bigger Verna.
The cabin space of the Yaris could be smaller, but the sedan's width will seat three passengers abreast comfortably.
Like the Honda City, the Hyundai Verna edges out the Toyota Yaris in size. That said, the Yaris is wider compared to both.
