Toyota's new sedan, the Yaris, has started arriving at dealerships across India. The demo cars have been spotted by GaadiWaadi at their dealership yards, ahead of its launch on 18th May.
First showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo, Toyota has already begun accepting bookings for the Yaris for an amount of Rs 50,000. Deliveries of the Toyota Yaris will begin by the end of May.
The Yaris is the first mid-size sedan offering from Toyota and will be placed between the company's Etios and the Corolla in its Indian lineup.

The Toyota Yaris lists a number of segment-first features to help beat the stiff competition in its segments. It takes on rivals like the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and the Hyundai Verna.
The 2018 Yaris receives exterior features such as projector headlamps, LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) on the front bumper, 15-inch alloy wheels, chrome door handles, sleek wrap-around LED taillights and a shark-fin antenna at the end of the roof.
On the inside, the Yaris gets a dual-tone beige and black trim with silver accents. Other interior features include three-spoke steering wheel, seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with gesture controls, roof-mounted AC vents, ambient lighting and 60:40 split-fold rear seats.
The Toyota Yaris also receives a range of safety features: seven airbags, ABS with EBD, Stability Control, ISOFIX child seat mounts and disc brakes on all four wheels.
Powering the Toyota Yaris is a 1.5-litre dual VVT-i petrol engine which produces 108bhp with 140Nm of torque. This engine is mated to either a six-speed manual or a seven-step CVT transmission.
Thoughts On The Toyota Yaris In Dealerships
The Yaris is available in four variants: J, G, V and VX. The Toyota Yaris is priced between Rs 8.75 to 14.07 lakhs, ex-showroom (India).
Once launched, the Yaris will offer some serious competition to its competitors in the segment, through its many segment-first features.
