Tata Tiago NRG Crossover Launch Highlights: Launched At Rs 5.49 Lakh
Tata Tiago NRG Launch Live Updates: Tata Motors is all set to launch the new Tiago NRG crossover. Based on the regular Tata Tiago hatchback, the NRG is aimed to give tough competition to the Maruti CelerioX. The Tata Tiago NRG is expected to be mechanically similar to the Tiago and Tigor, while featuring some funky design elements to justify its crossover tag.
Ground clearance has been raised even further (180mm compared to the Tiago's 170mm) while black claddings embrace the entire lower portion of the car. The roof is finished in a gloss black shade and has got a black pair of roof rails. The new 14-inch four-spoke wheels are not the best-looking but the chunky tyre walls promise a soft ride.
The Tata Tiago NRG will be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol or 1.05-diesel engine. The petrol engine makes 84bhp and 114Nm of torque while the diesel is good for 69bhp and 140Nm of torque. The engines will come mated only to a 5-speed manual transmission.
On the inside, the Tata Tiago NRG will showcase the same design but with some extra orange accents. The seat trims have also been updated.
