Tata Nexon XZ Variant Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs 7.99 Lakh
Tata Motors has launched the new XZ trim of the Nexon subcompact SUV in India.
Tata Nexon XZ variant launched in India. Tata Motors has launched a new XZ variant of its Nexon subcompact SUV in India. The Nexon was launched in 2017 and has received an overwhelming response from the Indian buyers.
The petrol variant of the Nexon XZ trim is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh and the diesel model costs Rs 8.99 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom (Delhi). The Nexon XZ is slotted below the top-spec XZ+ trim and the features were recently leaked on the internet.
The Tata Nexon XZ trim comes with all the essential features and premium bits. The Nexon XZ is equipped with a floating touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and voice command, reverse camera and climate control.

Apart from that the new XZ trim of the Tata Nexon also comes with projector headlamps, height adjustable driver seat and height adjustable seat belt. Other notable features include four tweeters, fabric inserts on door trims and text/Whatsapp readout and reply.
The Tata Nexon XZ misses out on some of the features such as LED daytime running lights, fog lamps and rear defogger. The XZ trim is equipped with the same 16-inch wheels with dual-tone wheel covers.
The Nexon XZ variant draws power from the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engines. The petrol engine produces 108bhp and 170Nm of torque and the diesel unit is good for 108bhp and 260Nm of torque.
Both the engines are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox with three driving modes: Eco, City and Sport. Tata Motors also showcased the AMT version of the Nexon at the Auto Expo 2018 and it is expected to be launched this year. Since its launch in India, the Nexon has been a successful product for Tata Motors. Now, overwhelmed by the success of the Nexon, the company has introduced the XZ trim of the SUV. The Nexon XZ is a good deal as it gets all the essential features and comes with premium bits such as projector headlamps.
