The petrol variant of the Nexon XZ trim is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh and the diesel model costs Rs 8.99 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom (Delhi). The Nexon XZ is slotted below the top-spec XZ+ trim and the features were recently leaked on the internet.
The Tata Nexon XZ trim comes with all the essential features and premium bits. The Nexon XZ is equipped with a floating touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and voice command, reverse camera and climate control.
Apart from that the new XZ trim of the Tata Nexon also comes with projector headlamps, height adjustable driver seat and height adjustable seat belt. Other notable features include four tweeters, fabric inserts on door trims and text/Whatsapp readout and reply.
The Tata Nexon XZ misses out on some of the features such as LED daytime running lights, fog lamps and rear defogger. The XZ trim is equipped with the same 16-inch wheels with dual-tone wheel covers.
The Nexon XZ variant draws power from the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engines. The petrol engine produces 108bhp and 170Nm of torque and the diesel unit is good for 108bhp and 260Nm of torque.
Both the engines are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox with three driving modes: Eco, City and Sport.
