The Tata Nexon Aero features only cosmetic mods, while keeping the engine options and output the same. The new Nexon Aero will come in two styling kits, Aero and Aktiv, and will host a lot of customisations to choose from. Other than that, the following are the top features of the Tata Nexon Aero:
Tata Nexon Aero Body Kits
The modified Tata Nexon Aero gets two body kits to choose from - Aero and Aktiv. The one you see above is in the Aero trim. The Auto Expo showcase model of the Nexon Aero features a subtle body kit, with red accents.
The Tata Nexon also features bumper protectors and chrome-deletes across the body. The Tata Nexon Aero at the Auto Expo 2018 was finished in an exclusive ‘Liquid Silver' paint with a piano black roof.
Customers of the upcoming Tata Nexon Aero will have a variety of paint schemes and accessories to choose from, via an interactive iPad application (available at the dealerships).
Tata Nexon Aero Engine Options
Although the upcoming Tata Nexon Aero will be powered by the existing petrol and diesel engines, the compact SUV will have an option of a new 6-speed AMT gearbox. The Tata Nexon AMT was unveiled alongside the Aero at the Auto Expo 2018. The Nexon Aero will be also available with the regular 6-speed manual gearbox.
The petrol Tata Nexon Aero is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine which produces 108.5bhp and 170Nm of torque. On the other hand, the diesel Tata Nexon Aero is powered by a 1.5-litre engine that develops 108.5bhp and 260Nm of torque.
Tata Nexon Aero Customisation
As said earlier, the Tata Nexon Aero will come in two trims - Aero and Aktiv. The Aero trim ‘will not' come in Moroccan Blue, while the Aktiv trim of the Tata Nexon Aero, won't have the Vermont Red exterior paint. Rest of the Tata Nexon colour options will be available in both trims. The 16-inch alloy wheels can be given a contrast outer ring of the user's colour preference.
On the inside, piano black finishes on the dashboard distinguish the Tata Nexon Aero from the regular model. The Nexon Aero can also have contrast dashboard colours as per the users choice.
Other Tata Nexon Aero Features
In addition to the host of customisation options on the compact SUV, the Tata Nexon Aero features custom seat covers, floor mats, illuminated sill plates, and an ‘Aktiv' or ‘Aero' decal on the C-pillar. The upcoming Nexon Aero will also get Tata-approved accessories such as a sunroof.
