Auto Expo 2018: Renault's Crazy Car Lineup For India's Auto Show

India's most significant automotive event is just around the corner. The Auto Expo 2018 is expected to witness some of the prominent auto giants such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, Tata Motors, Mahindra showcasing, unveiling and even launching new cars at the Auto Expo 2018.
French carmaker Renault has announced that it will be showcasing several cars at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo consisting of mass-market cars, concepts as well as electric vehicles. Here is a look at the list of Renault upcoming cars in India at Auto Expo 2018.
Renault Zoe
One of the prominent Renault car at Auto Expo is the Zoe electric hatchback. The Zoe will be a technological showcase for Renault in India. The Renault Zoe derives its power from a new 41kWh battery, up from the 22kWh unit that was employed in the previous model.

The Zoe EV has a driving range of 400km and takes 65 minutes for an 80 percent charge through a quick charger. The company claims the Zoe EV can be fully charged in 8-9 hours via a standard 7kw charger and has a claimed real-world driving range of 300km.
Renault Trezor Concept
Showcased first at the 2016 Paris Motor Show, the Renault Trezor concept captivated many with its sporty design. That doesn't end there, the Trezor concept is an electric vehicle and previews Renault's future in electric vehicle segment especially performance versions.
The two-seater performance GT concept Trezor will be showcased at the Auto Expo 2018. The Trezor sits on a carbon-fibre chassis and power comes to it via a Formula E derived electric motor producing nearly 350bhp that sends power to the rear wheels. The unit derives its power from two massive batteries - one at the front and the other at the rear. The Trezor takes less than four seconds to sprint to 100kmph.
Renault F1 Car (RS17)
One of the most significant Renault cars at the Auto Expo is its 2017 Formula 1 contender, the RS17. The stunning looking Renault F1 was driven by Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer for most of the year, while Carlos Sainz Jr. drove it for Jolyon Palmer in the latter part of the season.
The Renault F1 car is built on a honeycomb monocoque platform made of carbon fibre, while power comes to it from a 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 engine that comes mated with an 8-speed semi-automatic gearbox.
Other Mentions Of Renault Cars At Auto Expo
Renault is also expected to reveal the new Renault Duster at the Auto Expo 2018 as the current model is facing product fatigue in the country. Also expected are the Renault Kwid electric vehicle and an MPV based on the Kwid platform.
